The most recent downloadable content is now purchasable via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace. The latest DLC includes new weapons, the Boomerang, the Circle Blade, outfits and more. The next DLC schedule will be posted when the time comes.

Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed the latest announcement news of Musou Orochi 2 Special for the PSP. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2's Rachel has been added to the roster of playable characters in this version, wielding dual weapons. The PlayStation Portable title will also include a new Battle Royal Mode where up to 1-4 players can play against each other. Musou Orochi 2 Special for the PSP is scheduled for a July 19th 2012 release in Japan. Currently there's been no announcement of an overseas release.

Tecmo Koei's fiscal 2012 earnings statement, which was released today, shows the company to be up in sales. They report a 10.7% increase in sales from the previous fiscal year to 35,525 million yen. Operating earnings rose 56.1% to 7,472 million yen, while Net earnings increased 69.3% to 4,640 million yen. Strong sales of Ninja Gaiden 3, Musou Orochi 2 (Warriors Orochi 3), Sengoku Musou 3 Empires (Samurai Warriors 3: Empires) and Winning Post 7 2012 contributed to these performance gains, with Ninja Gaiden 3 shipping 630,000 units throughout the world. For the current fiscal year, Tecmo Koei expects a 9.8% increase in sales to 39,000 million yen and a 7.7% increase in net earnings to 5,000 million yen. They plan to release product at new hardware launches, but did not specify which hardware, and to continue actively pursuing new collaborations.

At their Global Gamer's day in Las Vegas last week, Bandai-Namco announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors (Kaizoku Musou) will be released outside of Japan in 2012, exclusively for the PlayStation 3. One Piece: Pirate Warriors is the latest franchise game from Bandai-Namco and KOEI-Tecmo, and was released in Japan on March 1st.

Nintendo America has revealed that the Japanese title, Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition will be coming to North America for the Nintendo DS, June 18th 2012. Pokemon Conquest is a strategy game fusing both Nintendo's Pokemon franchise in which the Pokemon team up with the characters from feudal Japan from the Samurai Warriors series to do battle. No release information has been given for a European date as of yet.

KOEI TECMO Japan has announced the surprise upcoming DLC for Dynasty Warriors 7. The image of Dian Wei must be one sample of the many costumes that will feature with this pack. The price and date is currently unknown, but more information will be provided and updated when it comes.

A new trailer for Shin Sangokumusou VS (Dynasty Warriors VS) is here online. The promotional video reveals the various features and special outfits, as well as surprise characters that are now part of the upcoming exclusive Nintendo 3DS title. The launch trailer for Warriors Orochi 3 (known as Musou Orochi 2 in Japan) for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been released. Warriors Orochi 3 will be available on PSN as digital download only (in North America only) for the PlayStation 3 version on March 20, 2012 and Xbox 360 retail version on March 27, 2012 in North America. Warriors Orochi 3 will be available in Europe for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions in retail stores on April 6, 2012.
