The main character of this game, the leader of Western army. To keep his promise with his deceased lord, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, as protector of the Toyotomi clan, he challenges Tokugawa Ieyasu to a battle. |

Ishida Mitsunari's retainer. An excellent strategist whose name is known throughout Japan. Although he has bad mouth, he is fully devoted to Mitsunari. He is the one who understands Mitsunari the most. |

Commander of the Eastern army. With 2500000 koku in Kantou which he governs, he has the biggest force in Japan. He aims for conquering Japan. |

Retainer of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Hates Ishida Mitsunari, thus joining the Eastern Army instead. While a powerful fighter, he is easily fooled. |

Ootani Yoshitsugu
Ishida Mitsunari's closest friend. Toyotomi Hideyoshi once said "I would like to see you in command of a million troops," as he is possessing of great genius. However, he suffers from chronic illness. |

Konishi Yukinaga
Western Army officer. A daimyo born from a merchant family. Protects the central garrison at Sekigahara. |
